The Public Education Department Office of Human Resources coordinates all human resource operations for all divisions of the department to include all matters pertaining to compensation, classification analysis, hiring, promotions, terminations, separations, transfers, retirements, payroll, workers compensation, internal staff development, employee relations, labor relations, policies and procedures, and new employee orientation. This office also provides services related to performance appraisals, training, benefits administration, drug and alcohol prevention programs and human resource records management. All services are provided in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the State Personnel Board and departmental policies and procedures.
