2009-2010 Federal SEG Stimulus
This table shows the initial allocation of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act stabilization dollars for each school district and charter school to be allocated through the public school funding formula for the 2009-10 school year. This is the initial allocation for budgeting. The final allocation will be complete after the 40th day adjustments have been made later this year in accordance with state law for the funding formula. At that time, the entire amount will be allocated.

Title I Funding
Title I ARRA Awards Table
Title I funds programs for disadvantaged children. This table includes the 50 percent currently awarded to school districts and the total expected to be awarded this year.
National School Lunch Funding
School Lunch Equipment Awards
The purpose of this money is to improve the infrastructure of the National School Lunch Program, and the money may be used to purchase or renovate food service equipment. The money has been awarded to 31 school districts and schools through a competitive grant process.
ARRA Homeless Education Awards
Homeless Education Awards Table
These grants will help schools address the educational and related needs of homeless children during the current economic downturn. In July $383,313 will be awarded to 24 school districts across the state. Another $165,000 will be awarded through a competitive grant process. Those awards are expected to be announced by August 8.
