Capital Outlay Bureau

The Capital Outlay Bureau fulfills and facilitates the processing of school district requests for capital funds, approval of disposition of school district real and/or personal property, and approval of school district non-construction project plans. The Bureau certifies that construction projects will support the educational program needs of a school district. The Bureau also calculates and distributes funds under the Public School Capital Improvements Act and School Buildings Act and is responsible for the reporting requirements and conditions to ensure expenditures are made in a prudent manner consistent with the original purposes in the resolutions.
