 Programs: Focused Monitoring 2005-06 Selection Data


Districts are selected for a focused monitoring visit based on the ADS information they report to the state as well as information from the results of students with disabilities participating in the statewide assessments.

The 89 school districts and charter schools within the state of New Mexico are divided into six groups for the purposes of comparing data and selecting districts for monitoring.

Group 1
Because of size, APS is the single district in group 1. Within this group, APS has been divided into 11 high school clusters for the purposes of focused monitoring.

Twenty-Nine districts

Group 3
Twenty-Nine districts

Group 4
Thirty districts

Group 5
Charter schools (mostly High Schools)

Group 6
Charter schools (mostly Elementary Schools)
